A Land of Legends – Part II

Another myth, the myth of the master genius, features Manole the Master, a legendary character whose existence has, however, a factual basis, as the masterpiece that he allegedly built, the Monastery of Argesh, still stands. The plot is based on a deep and dramatic conflict between vocation and love. According to the legend, Manole the Master was called by the prince to build the Monastery of Argesh, and the prince wanted him to build the most beautiful edifice ever.

Chisinau’s Circ Comes to Life

The circus ring is full of daredevil trapeze artists and wild lions, clumsy clowns and imposing elephants, intrepid tightrope walkers and supple horses, first-class jugglers and charismatic magicians. Children’s eyes are gleaming and fascinated adults are clapping their hands with enthusiasm. Spirit of Woodstock

Woodstock, United States, 1969: 500.000 young Americans celebrate an ever memorable three-day rock festival. And they shout out a message to the whole word: PEACE! It is the time of the Vietnam war, the sexual revolution and the Hippies. “Make love not war”, is one of the most powerful slogans of this rock festival with cult status.
